Our first group activity! We decorated pumpkins! The little girls wanted to smile for the camera so we allowed them to take off their masks for the picture.

Fran helped Kylee light the first candle on the Advent wreath.

You are invited to come and join our 2020-2021 Sunday School year!

Classes begin at 8:50 and end at 10 am.

Your child's safety is very important to us.  This year, because of the pandemic, we will practice social distancing in each classroom.  We also ask that each student wear a mask.

We have decided that since we have such a small group this year, we can safely have our group Sunday lessons.  We hope to do something every month.   Our first one was October 24th where we did a fall craft and painted pumpkins.

Our second group lesson was held on November 29.  The children learned about Advent, made their own Advent wreaths and decorated Christmas cards that were sent to our homebound members.

We had another group lesson on December 20.  The lesson was about the holly leaf and Jesus' birth.  We shared a Christmas snack and gifts were exchanged.

Valentine's Day LOVE turns into...

Our Ash Wednesday/Valentine's Day lesson was a huge success!  The children learned about Ash Wednesday and Lent and also celebrated Valentine's Day by exchanging Valentines.

We had another group lesson on Palm Sunday.  Everyone received a Palm branch and we learned about all the special days of Holy Week.  The children took home a poster that they filled in and colored.

Only 4 for our Easter egg hunt, but they had a great time and collected a lot of candy filled eggs!!

Celebrating Pentecost and the church's birthday!

On Easter, we had our annual Easter egg hunt on the lawn.  After we collected all the eggs and opened them to see what is inside, we had a lesson about Jesus and the reason for our Easter celebration!

We celebrated Pentecost, with some children wearing red. We explored around the world and then we celebrated the church's birthday with red cupcakes and juice.

We had a cowboy themed end of year celebration!!

After 45 years of teaching for each of them, Bonnie and Fran have decided to retire. They will be missed!!

Our last day of Sunday School was on June 13.  We celebrated the end of the year with a cowboy themed party during the Sunday school hour and we recognized our teachers and students at both service.
